What if people really lived this way? このすばらしい生き方が実行されったら。。。。
Firmly convinced that God loved them.　　万物創造された神様の
完璧な愛を確かに感じながら。。。
Realizing the value of the kingdom.　神の国の価値を悟る。。。
Seeking, knocking, Asking
求めている、探している、ドアをたたいている。。。
Poor in spirit　心の貧しい
Pure in heart　　心清く
Peacemaking　　平和をつくっている
Ready to be persecuted　and rejoice about it　　迫害されながらも喜びを感じうる。
What if people really lived like this every day?　　毎日の生活がこのように真に営まれたとしたら。
They would be the light of the world. They would be the salt of the earth.　　そうすれば世界の光になります。地のしおになります。

People would come from far a way to see them. People would want to be like them.
その人々に会うために遠い所から人が来るでしょう。我々もまたそのようになりたいと思うでしょう。
Matthew 5 You Are Like Salt and Light
13 "You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its salty taste, it cannot be made salty again. It is good for nothing, except to be thrown out and walked on.

Iｆ people will live like Jesus teaches, they will add
flavor to the world, and they will serve as a preservative.　弟子たちがイエスの教えたとおり生活を行えば、人類に味を増して、防腐剤 【ぼうふざい】として働くでしょう。
Jesus wanted his disciples to be filled with the fruit of the Spirit。 イエスは、弟子たちが聖霊の実を結ぶことを望まれた。He wanted them to bring God’s grace and knowledge to the decaying human race.
イエスは弟子たちが神の恵みと知識をこの衰退していく人類にもたらすことを望まれた。

14 "You are the light that gives light to the world. A city that is built on a hill cannot be hidden.15 And people don't hide a light under a bowl. They put it on a lamp-stand so the light shines for all the people in the house.
Jesus called himself the Light of the world. John 8:12;.But Jesus' life on the earth was very short. イエスは自分自身、世界の光と呼ばれたが、地球上のいのちは非常に短かったです。
He brought glory to His father by his teaching and his deeds.　イエスは自らの教えと行いにより、天のちちに栄光をもたらされた。 Now his disciples are to do the same. 今日弟子たちは同じようにするべきです。
16 In the same way, you should be a light for other people. Live so that they will see the good things you do and will praise your Father in heaven.
The disciple’s life is to be a life of good works　and a life of purity. James 1:27
